Mr Diarmuid O’Connor
Diarmuid is a well-qualified educator who joins us from a school in Dublin, Ireland, but has taught internationally for almost a decade in Spain, Taiwan and South Korea. His timetable will be split between Mathematics and Science next year. Diarmuid has a huge interest in sport. He plays Gaelic football, hurling and soccer, He represented Ireland in an International Table Tennis ‘Home Countries’ tournament in Dublin in 1999, in which he competed against England, Scotland and Wales, Diarmuid won regional and provincial Basketball, Gaelic Football and hurling team titles during his time at school. Diarmuid is excited to bring his skills and experience to WIST and is looking forward to collaborating with his colleagues to produce exciting schemes of work and lessons for his students.
